CE marking mandatory throughout the EU

Today, July 1, 2014, the CE Marking for Steel and Aluminum Structures in accordance with the harmonized standard UNE-EN1090-1:2011 comes into effect.

This mandatory regulation requires that “all products manufactured for use in construction projects, both buildings and civil works, throughout the internal market of the European Union” must bear the CE marking.
