THE BIRTH OF CUALIMETAL
Cualimetal was founded in Tarazona as a small company focused on minor repairs of metal structures and cladding.

THE FIRST MODULAR SYSTEM IS BORN, IDEAL FOR EXPORT
We take a significant step toward innovation with the creation of our first modular construction lines: fast, cost-effective, lightweight, and high-quality. Buildings whose initial philosophy involved the use of single type of screw for construction.

IN-HOUSE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
We invest in engineering to offer our customers comprehensive projects, studied from start to finish. Calculation, design and modelling.

FIRST QUALITY CERTIFICATION
We obtain the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate to define our processes in detail and meets the needs of our customers.

CE MARKING CERTIFICATION
We become pioneers in obtaining CE Marking certification, meeting the EU’s requirements for safety, health, and environmental protection.

CUALIMETAL GOES ONLINE
We become pioneers in developing a website, which allows us to reach international markets.

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Thanks to the new website, we export our first building, to Nouakchott (Mauritania). An ECORAPID® metal building with a floor area of 2,000 m2.

MENORCA BASKETBALL PAVILION
Awarded the project to build the ACB pavilion for Menorca Basket. A 5000 m2 metal structure in a record time of 3 months from earthworks to completion of all pavilion facilities.

ZARAGOZA TRADE FAIR
With a floor area of 30,000 m2 of ECORAPID® industrial buildings, it represents a new step in Cualimetal’s growth. Assembly completed in a record time of 2 months.

PLENAVE® IS BORN
A patent is obtained for a new product designed in our Technical Office: PLENAVE® a foldable, fully dismantlable, and relocatable system.

FIRST PROJECT IN FRANCE
We built our first industrial building in France, a market where we are leaders in the installation of metal structures for all types of needs. In addition, we have partners and references in almost every department.

AWARD OF A LARGE INDUSTRIAL BUILDING DEVELOPMENT IN ROMANIA
16,000m2 of buildings in Cluj-Napoca (Romania). Cualimetal continues to grow…

NEW FACILITIES
Change of offices to bring the workshop and engineering departments together in one location. 300 m2 of offices and 1500 m2 of workshop.

AWARD OF CUALIMETAL’S MOST IMPORTANT PROJECT TO DATE
A 30,000 m2 project for the world’s largest industrial pulp plant, located in Montes del Plata (Uruguay).

Supply of a 2400 m2 ECORAPID® metal building in Karimun (Indonesia).

PREPARED FOR GREAT BRITAIN: We obtain UKCA certification
We are now certified under the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking, a necessary requirement for products sold in Great Britain, replacing the EU requirements for CE marking (the CE marking will still be accepted in Northern Ireland).

EXPANSION OF FACILITIES AND LARGEST INVESTMENT IN CUALIMETAL’S HISTORY
We prepare to take another leap forward and grow. We expand our facilities to 4000 m2 and install two profiling lines. CUALIMETAL integrates innovation and technology as part of INDUSTRY 4.0 in the manufacture of its own metal structures.

THE RAPIDSOL® SYSTEM IS BORN
We design a fast and cost-effective solution for the SOLAR sector. RAPIDSOL® is a photovoltaic table with a fixed metal structure designed for large solar farms.

CUALIMETAL "GREEN STEEL"
We develop our Sustainability Plan (2023-2030) through which we commit to measuring, improving and reducing our CO2 emissions in all our processes. And we collaborate with our customers and suppliers to provide the best sustainable and cost-effective solutions, helping their businesses align with the 2030 agenda.

COLLABORATION WITH ACYF ENERGÍAS
We started our collaboration with ACYF Energías, to install all kinds of photovoltaic systems such as solar parks, panels on roofs, solar canopies, charging points, etc.

CUALIMETAL TODAY
Today, the second generation leads the company, with Yanira Vallejo and her siblings at the helm. Our facilities in Zaragoza cover more than 8,000 m2. With more than 2500 industrial buildings built across five continents and in 52 countries.
