CUALIMETAL MEANS SUSTAINABILITY
In 2023, we took another step toward the future by developing our Sustainability Plan, “CUALIMETAL Green Steel” (2023-2030). Through this we are committed to measuring, improving, and reducing our CO₂ emissions —not only in our manufacturing processes but also in our materials and company know-how.
The main goal of “CUALIMETAL Green Steel” is to guide our customers toward a more sustainable present and future.
Actions of the “CUALIMETAL Green Steel” Plan
Carbon Footprint Certification (CFO)
Enables us to measure the emissions produced in our activities and work toward minimizing them as much as possible.
Carbon Footprint Registration (CFO)
We have successfully registered in the Carbon Footprint, Offsetting, and CO₂ Absorption Projects Registry of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. This recognizes organizations’ efforts in calculating and reducing the greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activities.
Sustainability Report
CUALIMETAL has produced a Sustainability Report based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) with the aim of grouping together the relevant aspects within Development and Sustainability.
RSA certification
In 2024, we obtained the RSA certification, reinforcing our commitment to a vision that goes beyond legal requirements. This certification ensures transparency in management and the voluntary integration of responsible initiatives and practices with a strong ethical, social, and environmental commitment.
